
For over 20 years, I thrived in the high-pressure world of public accounting. As the first female partner in my firm’s history. I carried the weight of expectations and the relentless pursuit of excellence. My days were packed with client meetings, complex financial and tax challenges, and managing a team that looked to me for leadership.
But my work wasn’t the only thing that kept me busy. I was also a mom of two, juggling the demands of motherhood with the pressures of my career. Between client deadlines and school pickups, it often felt like I was running a marathon that had no finish line.
Eventually, the constant stress took its toll. Sleepless nights, chronic fatigue, and burnout forced me to confront the imbalance in my life. Though I had always practiced yoga, it had been more about doing than being. But in my lowest moments, yoga became a lifeline—teaching me to pause, breathe, and listen to my body.
Now, as I step away from my career in public accounting into a new chapter with ORB Yoga, I carry the lessons from my career, my experience as a busy mom, and my journey through burnout. I know what it feels like to be constantly busy, pulled in a million directions, and to feel like there’s no time to care for yourself. And I know how vital it is to create space to breathe, move, and reconnect with myself.
My mission is to help others under constant pressure find balance and reclaim their health, peace, and joy through a yoga lens.
